Participatory Videos (PV) are a powerful tool for community engagement, empowerment, sustainable development, and advocacy. Our organization recognizes the immense potential of PV in facilitating meaningful dialogue, fostering creativity, and amplifying the voices of marginalized communities. By integrating participatory videos as a fundamental component across all our activities, we aim to strengthen our impact and promote grassroots-led initiatives. This program goes beyond simply creating videos; it aims to unite communities and facilitate collaborative planning to bring about significant change in their respective communities.

We engage in close collaboration with communities to develop videos that authentically reflect their perspectives, experiences, and aspirations. This entails providing training in filming techniques and equipping community members with the necessary tools to create their own films, centered around the issues important to them. Through participatory video processes, community members actively participate in all stages of video production, including planning, scripting, filming, and screening, granting them the power to share their stories and experiences in their own voices.

The primary goal of these videos is to amplify the voices of marginalized groups, challenging stereotypes, and promoting social inclusion. Additionally, they serve as advocacy tools, capturing the attention of policymakers, stakeholders, and the public, ultimately driving positive change.
